The Secret Postcard Sale
Here in 3rd year Textiles, we are hosting a secret postcard sale, as part of the fundraising for the fashion show. The sale involves students and alumni creating a one-off piece for sale in the Fashion show boutique. Invitations have gone out to alumni to participate in the Sale which will take place during the show, to raise funds for
New Designers. If you haven't received your invite and wish to be
included, We would be delighted, we would ask for you to donate a drawing using the Newbery Tower as inspiration

Fashion show tickets are now on sale at The Vic assembly Hall, The Glasgow School of Art shop and Tickets Scotland-Click the link HERE to buy online now!
The dates are Tues 8th March and Wednesday 9th, with 2 shows, one at 7pm, an one at 9pm.

The Fashion Project Begins...
It's the Start of Term and We have been beginning our Fashion show design project. We have started by Making toiles of the garments, to get the shape right, and begin the drawing process.

Visual Identity-posters and advertising
We are beginning the process of creating posters and leaflets for the fashion show. The theme we are looking at is the Newberry tower, its opening in the 1970's and the fact that it is being knocked down at the end of this year.
We have begun by looking at textures and shapes in and around the building, and things that give the building character. view some of our ideas on our flikr site here.

Bake sale!

Second Year Design Project Begins!
A few Photos of the 2nd year Textiles students- Designs from this project will be used for their final fashion piece that will be in the show.
